About us
Elisa Foundation was born in the summer of 1998 to help all children affected by serious diseases, such as leukemia, malignant tumors, AIDS, congenital diseases, diabetes, etc., who are treated in Ticino. The name Elisa is linked to a smile and a true story and is the symbol of the many brave children who struggle against a difficult destiny.
Despite all the help that our society offers, there are many problems and difficulties caused by the serious illness of a child that remain in the hands of the families and upset their functioning because they fall outside the areas covered by social insurance.
